Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son Drop Next Single (“Lay It On Me”) Off Upcoming ‘We Go On’ EP

Central New Jersey alternative rock outfit Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son has released “Lay It On Me”, the next single off the upcoming EP ‘We Go On”, out April 8 on Telegraph Hill Records.

Of the emotional new single, Frontman Bobby Mahoney says, “Flower power and violence” are directly about the 2020 protests for the murder of George Floyd, and the fights many Americans have had to wage to secure their own rights/freedoms. “Will we find redemption?/Tune in next week”. It’s ultimately about recognizing our own boundaries, and how much each of us can take on at once without being burnt out, burned, or burnt alive.”
