To mark this milestone, the studio has launched an updated anniversary website, showcasing its journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of the best developers in horror gaming. Known for immersive, spine-chilling experiences, Bloober’s award-winning portfolio includes Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, Observer: System Redux, The Medium, and the recently acclaimed SILENT HILL 2. Fright knows no downtime as Bloober Team just announced its next big project, Cronos: The New Dawn – an original IP rooted in survival sci-fi horror, which is currently in development for PC and console for a CY25 launch.
As part of the anniversary celebration and coming off the blockbuster release of the iconic SILENT HILL 2 remake, fans can look forward to new exclusive artwork designed by Bloober Team’s Creative Director and Lead Designer Mateusz Lenart, artfully crafted and sketched in charcoal. The artwork will be free to download and be used as wallpaper and will be available on Bloober Team’s anniversary website. To further satiate fan’s appetite for more game goodness, the team has also released a special video that documents the creation process, where Lenart takes viewers behind the scenes as he brings his haunting vision of the iconic horror experience to life.
Following the recent announcement of Cronos: The New Dawn, Bloober Team has dropped a musical gem for fans: the game’s mesmerizing main theme, “Traveler.” This track captures the retro-futuristic vibe at the heart of the game’s audio design and music philosophy, complemented by the ambient soundscape, “The Collective.” Together, these powerful tracks invite listeners into the haunting world of sci-fi suspense that defines Cronos. Both pieces are expertly crafted by Bloober Team’s incredible audio team, led by Arkadiusz Reikowski, renowned audio director and composer.
