https://show.co/Q4UagKzDown This Road explores the dangers and negativity of toxic relationships, both with others and our own inner demons. The song can be seen as a message of defiance, spoken both out loud to another person or even as an inner monologue, reminding ourselves to not repeat old habits that can lead us into bad habits and down a dark path. It’s ultimately a positive song about finding the inner strength to say no and become a better person”
– Black Star Jackals

The band returned to Venice of the North Studios in their hometown of Glasgow to record the single, whose amazing production brought a new power and depth to the music, creating the impact they wanted.
