Music sensation Becky G graced the stage at a packed house at The Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, TX. The screams of joy coming from the crowd that enticed Becky G throughout the concert. First, we saw a DJ set from Awsumo that warmed up the crowd with some classic tracks, new tracks, and some grooves that I didn’t think would slide away at a show. I was very impressed by Awsumo and hope to hear from him more.
Then, out came Becky G, to a ceremonial roar from the explosive crowd in San Antonio. Shouts and screams from the crowd had a huge vibe going throughout the show. Becky G performed such songs as Cuando Te Bese, Tajin, and many more. During the show, she did her own rendition of a classic Selena track titled Bidi Bidi Bom Bom. I saw many couples in the crowd start to dance together in their seats while Becky G lead the crowd with her dance moves.
Becky G also provided a special tribute performance for the people we have lost. The song titled Querido Abuelo had the wild San Antonio crowd with tears in their eyes as they sung their hearts out with her. Becky G was very impressed with the singing in from the crowd at Boeing Center. She thanked the crowd numerous of times as you can tell she was very humbled.
This was my first time seeing Becky G and it won’t be my last. Becky G provided a fun show that families enjoyed with their children, couples enjoyed with each other, and people living the dream of seeing their idol perform on stage as well.
