September 7, 2021 (HOUSTON, TX) – Bayou City Comic Con is proud to welcome Celebrity Guests John Noble (Fringe, Lord of the Rings), Aleks Paunovic (Snowpiercer, TV’s Van Helsing, Planet of the Apes), Maximiliano Hernandez (Agent Sitwell in Avengers film Series, TV’s Last Ship), Ming Chen (actor, podcaster, reality television personality, Comic Book Men), Scott Patterson (Gilmore Girls, Saw film series) and Varun Saranga, (Schitt$ Creek, Wynonna Earp) and Artists Guests Tone Rodriguez (also from Dexter), Ben Dunn and Houston-based Mark A. Nelson, Dirk Strangely, Roderick Thornton and Brian Salinas. Registration is now open online for the Cosplay contest and “You Are The Art” Contest. The three-day in-person and live stream event begins on November 19 through 21, 2021 at the Westin Galleria Houston Hotel and Convention Center, 5060 W. Alabama Street. An Art Contest for Anyone to Apply!
Compete to have your art at a location in Houston for the public to not just see but interact with!
There are four chances to have a public piece of art at Main Street Tap and Grill a neighborhood bar located at 4002 N. Main Street. MST&G has a large 40’x8.5′ and four sections each of 5.4’x8′ arches to paint where the winning art will reside.

Contestants encouraged to register online (no site registration) to display their handmade costumes spanning the worlds of comics, movies, TV, web series, anime, books, and video games at center stage. All contestants will be judged on the quality of their costume and stage presence!
