The talk of the town this past summer was the movie Barbie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. I didn’t think too much of the movie as I originally thought it might be a romance comedy movie. Well, I was wrong! This movie had comedy, creativity, drama, and much more jammed packed in nearly 2 hours!
We were able to get a review copy of the movie Barbie for Blu Ray and Digital. The movie was able to start up real quick on our Blu Ray player and graphics looked good on our 4K television. I was pretty shocked on how good this movie was and I should have gone to the movie theater to have seen it! The movie will be featured on our Holiday Gift Guide coming out in November.

- Humor
- I didn’t laugh so hard while watching a movie in a long time. The jokes were funny, a bit cheesy here and there, but all in all funny. I had a great time watching the movie, catching the jokes, and laughing a long. Barbie and Ken had some moments that they shined really bright though!
- Story
- Barbie has a wonderful life in her world until she discovers more about herself. While getting some advice from Weird Barbie, Barbie takes a risk and leaves her world for the real world. Ken tags along as well and together they discover a new world for themselves. They see how certain things are different from their world and this real world with various elements. I don’t want to spoil too much of the movie, but you have to see it!
- Catchy Soundtrack
- I was very surprised on well the music for the soundtrack of the movie is! I was nodding my head along to the music during the movie and enjoyed that. I may look into buying the soundtrack soon as it had songs I have heard before or that were up to date for today’s entertainment.
