Back 4 Blood Beta has been out since Friday on consoles and PC gaming. I have to say this game is so much fun! I haven’t had fun in a multi player type game since Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. This game did have some aspects of Call of Duty in the game but old school Call of Duty.
We were able to get our hands on a beta code to try it on Steam. I am playing the game on my Asus laptop and had some fun in this game. I used my Xbox One controller attached to a USB cord to use in the game. I did experience some glitches as well but it is beta so it has to have glitches at the moment.

Pro:
- Cross Play
- I was able to play with people who were using Xbox and PlayStation consoles. This is really cool as everyone was communicating with each other while we were on different machines. I enjoyed this aspect in the game as it made Back 4 Blood much easier to play.
- Fun Factor
- The game is Hella fun! I know many people are saying this is like Left 4 Dead but I felt this game went beyond that. I felt this game had a warzone type feel while including an arcade factor of fun. This mixture provided, in my view, an old school view of gaming.
- Leadership
- I put this in there as there were times I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t have my mic hooked up to talk with anyone or ask anyone for help. I had other team mates in the game talk to us, giving orders as well. I even had one person tell me to move my head up and down if I knew what they were saying. This helped my team on beating levels of the beta but also a sense of belonging.
Con:
- Glitches
- There were some glitches I tell you what! I use the user name “utsadeli” and times someone else would have my character while I was using that person’s character. I’m like didn’t know we were trading characters lol. I know other people had connection errors as well and it took me 30 minutes to get in games at times.
