I went to check out the buzz on a little film called Assassination Nation unsure of what I would see. I saw it opening day and it took me a few days to process the film. A story of cyber crimes bullying wild teenage unfiltered sex drugs and rock-n-roll. This film I can say it’s part Mean girls, Hackers and The Purge. It goes in waves of different styles and moods. For the group of teenage girls, life will never be the same is an understatement.
A film that is not for everyone it has teen sex and some daddy issues it will not be everyone’s cup of tea.
This film is filled with current day issues and is a cry out to be heard. After seeing it I was left with the idea that the film was going to rise to a cult level film in a way a love song to the exploitation films of the 70’s to the revenge films forever finding it’s place in the cult films.
