San Diego, CA (April 28, 2021) – Up-and-coming alt-pop trio almost monday debuted the music video for their new song “hailey beebs” today via broadcast premiere on MTV Live and MTVU as well as a digital premiere on PAPER.
“hailey beebs” is the second song off almost monday’s forthcoming sophomore EP due out this summer. It was featured on Apple Music’s New In Alternative and Breaking Alternative playlists in more than 100 countries each as well as Amazon Music’s Control Alt Repeat, Breakthrough Alternative, Fresh Alternative and Brand New Music playlists. Ones To Watch declared it the “perfect summer song” and praised the group by saying they “should be everyone’s go-to for an instant mood-booster.”
“hailey beebs” follows their latest single “live forever,” which Zane Lowe personally world-premiered on Apple Music’s Beats 1 and Earmilk described as “a fun, upbeat sing-along track that enlists a festival-ready chorus sure to rock stages when live touring returns.”
Despite having released their debut EP—don’t say you’re ordinary—in the middle of a pandemic, almost monday were able to make waves with their first single “broken people.” It landed them a Top 20 spot on Alternative Radio, led to a collab with GRAMMY-nominated duo Sofi Tukker, generated more than 20 million combined audio and video streams to date and put them in front of the likes of GQ, FLAUNT Magazine, Amazon Music and Shazam who all declared them ones to watch in 2021.
almost monday are set to make their debut at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, September 4 alongside artists such as Lizzo, Tame Impala, Phoebe Bridgers and more.
Stay tuned for additional live music updates soon.
