With the comic conventions at a total halt, many artists are displaced of not being able to showcase and sell their art. The artists have continued to create art but have been looking for a place to display it for the fans to see. Now here comes shop owners Ray and Momo and together, they have created a place where artists can not only display their art but give the fans an opportunity to purchase it.  Ray and Momo have brought back Artist Alley back to the fore front with the creation of their store.

LVL Up Gaming has converted their video game venue into an Art Gallery to showcase the art from local artists in San Antonio. The art not only covers each wall inside the venue but I even saw art hung from the ceiling as well. This art gallery is something very unique that we don’t see often. Just the walk through was so enticing with original art from local artists such as David Soto, Freddy Lopez, and many more.

Here is our tour with the owner of LVL Up Gaming Art Gallery

You can find them at Rolling Oaks Mall in San Antonio and check out their FACEBOOK page for additional information.  Be sure to visit and acquire some cool art while you can! While I was there on their opening day, a lot of the art was flying off the shelves…literally! We are excited by this new vision Ray and Momo have brought to San Antonio and feel this keeps Artist Alley open during this situation. I feel that the local art scene in San Antonio will benefit from this store and for fans being able to check out the latest creativity from various artists will be cool!
