TOKYO — December 9, 2021 — Wright Flyer Studios has launched a crossover quest between the multi-platform single-player adventure JRPG Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space and the role-playing game Chrono Cross, which was released by SQUARE CO., LTD. (now SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD.) in 2000.
To celebrate the collaboration, players can earn up to 2,000 “Chronos Stones” during the launch period.
About Chrono Cross Crossover
After 22 years, Chrono Cross returns with a special crossover story by Masato Kato, the original writer and director. This is the first crossover for Chrono Cross with another game.
Synopsis
It’s a tale of destinies dancing intertwined,
a waltz to the dream of time’s ticking clock.
Or a twisted mirage…
Destiny was about to quietly awaken once again.
At that time, a new world emerges in a newly spun dream.
Aldo and Feinne have disappeared, but there is another world…
And at the same time, as if guided by something,
several shadows crossed dimensions and stepped into this land.
A man with a beast-like appearance, a daughter of the moon, a young bandit girl,
and a young boy destined to fight.
The dreams of the planet, the dreams of time…the two prayers intertwine,
and the gods scoff. Love will be made to bleed,
red and deep as the seas of hell…

The beloved characters from Chrono Cross, Serge, Kid, and Harle, will appear as playable characters with voices for the first time. In addition, Lynx, Glenn, and Starky will also appear in the crossover story.
Furthermore, Serge (CV: Ashton Frank), Kid (CV: Sheena May), and Harle (CV: Shazia Nicholls) will become allies by completing the crossover story.
The game system features new elements unique to Chrono Cross such as New Game+, Field Effects, Elements, and Special Attacks. The soundtrack features music from Chrono Cross as well as crossover commemorative music composed by Shunsuke Tsuchiya and Mariam Abounnasr, and supervised by Yasunori Mitsuda from PROCYON STUDIO.
