Animeverse Fest is a local anime convention in Pasadena, Tx that is held at the Pasadena
Convention Center for the past two years. It’s a great convention that has had great guests for two years
in a row, and its growing! Which is great to see!
Here is my review!
Animeverse Fest was a convention that started last year in 2022, and had a great turn out! It was
a two day convention full of fun, great guests, artist, and vendors. This year was much of the same but
they expanded it to three days which was awesome to see, and experience! This makes me happy to
see that they were able to add an extra day this year!
The Pros of this convention was that they were able to add the extra day, and the guests were
great! Especially Megan Shipman, Natalie Van Sistine, and Kellen Goff they brought headset mics, and
mini speakers so that they could interact, connect with their fans easier, and speak in their normal tones
so they would strain their voices. Which I think is something every voice actor, and actress should do! It
was very well orgainized JR the convention owner, and his team did an amazing job with this event!
The only con I have was the lack of communication on how the media like myself could go about
getting interviews in with the guests that they brought it but JR has already told me that the next event
those instructions would be posted to the event site.
In conclusion Animeverse Fest is a great, and fun convention. JR and his team running this
event have a great future ahead of them. They are going to have a second event later this year at the
Pasadena Convention Center which will be their final event at the venue because next year in 2024 they
are moving to the NRG Center in Houston, TX, and it will be held from February 9th to the 11th with more
guests, and a tournament area for video games!
