Advanced Image Robotics Wins Technology Innovation Award at 2022 NAB Show

Las Vegas, Nev. — The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) today announced Advanced Image Robotics (AIR) as the recipient of its annual Technology Innovation Award at the 2022 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

First presented in 2009, the Technology Innovation Award recognizes one organization per year that exhibits advanced technology and demonstrations of significant merit at NAB Show. Nominated exhibits should present advanced research and development projects in communications technologies that have not yet been commercialized.

AIR, one of several SPROCKIT-affiliated startups exhibiting at NAB Show, received the Technology Innovation Award for demonstration of its cloud-native, integrated remote camera control and video production platform.

“NAB congratulates AIR on receiving the Technology Innovation Award in recognition of its breakthroughs in multimedia production,” said Sam Matheny, NAB executive vice president of Technology and Chief Technology Officer. “AIR’s technology represents a significant development in storytelling and can help unlock new ways for content creators to bring their projects to life.”

“We are excited to be included in this elite group,” said AIR CEO Kevin McClave. “Receiving this award is great recognition of the work our team has done over the last two years, and that the emerging live streaming market is ready for a fully integrated camera-to-viewer platform.”
