88RISING’S WARREN HUE RELEASES NEW TRACK titled Charged!

New York, NY – April 16, 2021] Today, 18-year-old Indonesian rapper, singer and producer Warren Hue releases his new track “Charged!” via 88rising. The song is a hip-hop-infused dance track featuring elements of modern electronic music. The energy is high throughout the track, with the chant-like vocals and catchy hook.

To coincide with the release, Hue has partnered with Samsung for a massive global promotional campaign for new the Galaxy A phone. As part of the campaign, Samsung will include the track prominently throughout its messaging and first teased the track on Instagram and TikTok, sparking a new TikTok challenge with the “Charged!” audio. Samsung will also give fans a first look at exclusive BTS footage behind the making of the track. “Charged!” comes on the heels of Hue’s debut release with the pioneering Asian music collective 88rising, “omomo punk.” Upon release the track was playlisted on Spotify’s “New Music Friday” in 13 countries including the US, Indonesia and more. Additional playlisting includes Apple Music New Music Daily in 11 markets, Fresh Waves and New This Week. To date, the track and video have been streamed and viewed nearly 2 million times worldwide.
