Survive, Satellite” is an earworm of a song…and the latest single from Mississauga rock-trio MAYBE MAY. “The song calls the listener to keep pushing forward when faced with life’s challenges…with the bigger picture in mind” says Demetrius, singer-songwriter & guitarist for the band. Together with Vitaly (drums) & Rian (bass, vocals), MAYBE MAY feels that the message of the song is as relevant now as it will ever be. Produced & engineered by JUNO Award winning Kevin Dietz (THE GLORIOUS SONS, ALEXISONFIRE), the tune was recorded at Toronto’s famed Union Sound Company & Mississauga’s internationally renowned Metalworks Studios.

It was also the first time the band worked with mastering extraordinaire Noah Mintz (BILLY TALENT, DFA1979).

Frustrated with the restrictions of the COVID-19, MAYBE MAY envisions what it will be like to travel, tour the world & play live music once again. A stark contrast to the lyrical content, the light-hearted DIY video for “Survive, Satellite” features Italian hand-made puppets of the band in front of a green-screen, realizing their dreams in a post-pandemic world.

“Right off the bat, these guys had the stage presence of a stadium concert, performing like they were the headliner. In all honesty, I would absolutely go see them when that happens. Because… it’s going to happen.” – Trent Arthur

“…with a slick blend of voices up front to go along with their heavy three-piece action (they) hit the stage hard, held nothing back, and showed the early crowd what they bring to the party.” – The Reviews Are In
