There Is No Light New Location Reveal

A dark post-apocalyptic Action-Adventure set in the Underworld enters the final phase of the Kickstarter campaign. Only 7 days are left to play the public demo!

September 29, 2020, | Developer Zelart and publisher HypeTrain Digital announce the beginning of There Is No Light Kickstarter campaign final week and reveal a brand new location that will be present in the full game, coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Q3 2021.

There Is No Light was fully funded on Kickstarter in a little more than 100 hours and has already raised more than $56K. Thanks to the numerous stretch goals reached, the game will get additional side-quests, the Bestiary, upgraded VFX, and the second ending.

The new location is called The Lighthouse of Hope. Every pilgrim in the in-game world strives to reach it, yet nobody has ever heard of anyone making it to the Lighthouse. People blindly believe that everyone is welcome behind its gates, and every lost soul can find peace and protection from the cult’s army.

here is No Light is a pixel-art action-adventure set in a grim underground world ruled by the mysterious Church of the Great Hand, where the entire human population has been eradicated by a global catastrophe.

Explore the game world, listen to survivor stories, vanquish hordes of bloodthirsty demonic creatures, and fight deadly Bosses to fulfill your goal — save your child who has been taken away by a cult.

There’s a demo version of There Is No Light available throughout the campaign, which has been played by more than 10k people. Public access to the demo will be terminated after the campaign’s end, so there are only 7 days left to check it out.

The demo features two in-game locations and a boss fight with giant Behemoth. It’ll take you around 2 hours to complete it: you’ll be able to try 3 weapon types out of 4, build 3 skill trees and see the Karma system in action. You can still download it on Steam for free.
