Destiny 2 is an online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017, followed by a Microsoft Windows version the following month. It is the sequel to 2014’s Destiny and its subsequent expansions. Set in a “mythic science fiction” world, the game features a multiplayer “shared-world” environment with elements of role-playing games. Players assume the role of a Guardian, protectors of Earth’s last safe city as they wield a power called Light to protect the Last City from different alien races. One of these races, the Cabal, led by the warlord Dominus Ghaul, infiltrate the Last City and strips all Guardians of their Light. The player sets out on a journey to regain their Light and find a way to defeat Ghaul and his Red Legion army and take back the Last City.

September 9, 2014 Destiny Introduced its open world Halo style of play to a new fan base and bringing some new life to many old Halo fans with its first person jump run and reload style. Now with a sizzling new story, you fly right into the action gun out and ready.  Many Destiny fans are happy they did not have to wait till December for Destiny 2 to be released. So, has Bungie did it right this time? Have they made something that everyone of every level can enjoy? Well let’s take a good look from the prospective of someone different a non-gamer yes, the average noob

Game play 7/10 Much has not changed since the original except for some new powers and more open world play.  All in all it’s still the same old shoot, run, reload, like many other 1st person shooters. You can only play in a story or open world in a group of three.  If you want to group up with more friends you will have to play a raid or PVP. About that PVP, The Crucible, there is no separation of level or skill with can be good or bad that, is purely up to you. I would have gave the original Destiny the same score as far as game play goes

Noob Friendly 6/10 If you have played games like Halo, Call of duty, or any 1st person shooter then you already have a basic grasp for the game. The hard part comes when you’re playing at a higher level.  Also stay positive during your play.  Hope to work with people that will accept you as a noob to activate and raids. The Crucible is not for the faint of heart, has no place for noobs, so enter at your own risk and be prepared for carnage. I would recommend finding a helpful friend to carry you this will help noobs in pvp and make it more enjoyable.

Visualization 10/10 I personally can’t take anything from them here. Destiny 2 looks amazing. You can definitely see the work they put in the visual department.

Customization 3/10 Outside of making your characters face, race, and sex.  All other looks come from change of gear and weapon skins there’s not much after that.  So you will have to spend cash or crush high level content for cool gear.  Hopefully get something amazing from a boss drop.

Competitiveness 5/10 when it comes to PVP you should ask can I show off my own personal skills.  Can I in time, play well, and stand out from the rest.  Can I be my own juggernaut? Like most run, jump and reload 1st person shooters.  You only differ in level, gear, weaponry and timing. Like I said prior there is no level set in PVP.  Someone can easily jump in with longer play time or have spent the right price to dominate noobs in pvp.

Commercialization 7/10 looking at the history of the original Destiny there will be over priced DLCs. Yes, you will find yourself paying the price of a new game trying to be the 1st to jump into the newest DLC content.  Now they have also jumped on the micro transaction band wagon. I would say just wait and they will drop a 3 in one package that will give you the game and some nice items for the price that others have paid for Destiny 2 brand new.

. The only thing transferred is your character face. If you played the original game you will see all your work never mattered everything you did and had done will be left behind.  So you’re a new player like everyone else. You may come in the game with your own old war story’s

So, with that said I feel Destiny 2 should be graded B

This is only my opinion hopefully this will help you in your search of what is best for you and your family and what you’re looking for in a game. If there is any games you would like me to look into and give my opinion please feel free to message me
